Jon:
Welcome! Glad to see you made it. You may want to do a search on "surge" "idle" and "RPM". I just got through doing that search and came up with some posts that may be of interest to you. Brian |

The air plate sensor, know my Benz as the fuel mixture housing, has one hell of a fine adjustment on it. One little glitch and it will wig out.
Also, this system has no self diagnostics. You have to know what you are doing to properly diagnose and repair this system without being a parts hangar. Be sure of your tech or it could get really expensive really quick. ------------------ Benzmac: Donnie Drummonds 1991 GMC Syclone ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |
