Help, help, unhappy wife.

This week the weather has been hovering about - 5 to - 10 around here.
My wife got home tonight & told me, for the second time this week, after having the car sit outside her work all day, the heater fan does not come on, until she is about 5 or 6 miles down the road.
I checked fuse # 29 ( blower motor ), and the only thing I noticed was, the blade on one side of the fuse seemed to just barely catch the terminal.
I squeezed the terminal slightly & re-inserted the fuse ( 30 A ).
Tried the blower & it worked, although that was after having the car sit in my heated garage for 2 hours.
Any thoughts or experiences on this.
