Thanks to Steveblf for help with transmission

You were right on the money with your suggestion on how to fix my shifting problem. The switch under the pedal was dirty and had stuck so it wouldn't shift out of second gear. I cleaned it and it seems to be working fine now.
Thank You

With this one, I owe Steve 2 six packs.
Hopefully will pay him soon, since I am entertaining a prospective position in Brooksville, FL (about 60 miles north of Tampa).

Well, 8 months after this post the same thing happened to me.
Fill up with gas, go on the road and car revs up and no shift.
I pull over, disconnect the switch behind the accelerator and VOILA!!
Car shifts fine.
Is this switch absolutely necessary, or should I replace it?
By the way, thanks again Steve.

PS. I did not get the job in Brooksville

Just to add to the post.

Steve helped me diagnose a faulty KE Controller and saved me mucho dollars in diagnosis.

Just wanted to express my gratitude towards all the guys here that help people with their problems for free.
