Will I be able to use my wipers and panels on new 500e euro lights?

Are the wiper mounts (location) on 500e euro lights different than 500e US lights?

Can you reverse the wiper motors with stock connectors (no re-wiring)?

Thanks

Definitely.

The euro lights are larger and the panel below the headlight is not as tall as a result.

Because of this, the US OEM location for the wiper motor will not fit in the same confines with the Euros.

But fear not! Though most kits say that you will have to use the smaller panels (and paint them) and delete the motors, there are companies that have the conversion kit to allow use of the US system with the Euro lights...

Oh yeah one more thing: The 500E lights are different from the 500E lights, so don't get the W124 kit unless it specifies for the 500E.

www.puma-access.com has them.

Also, a thread outlining some of the issues you may encounter...
Euro Light Acc. Part Numbers

Many here on the forum have done this conversion (except for me ), so do a search and you will find tons on the subject...
