Hard to start

Just got this car and it is a little hard to start. Takes two to three times when cold and cranks longer than it should when warm.
Will flood if you give it the gas. Starts better not giving it any gas. I have changed the fuel filter==new air breather-new transmission filter and oil. Turned rotors and put new brake pads--changed and bled brakes---put new michelin pilots on. This is one sweet ride. Car has about 160,00 miles on it and hope to at least wear out the new michelins. It seems like low fuel pressure but why would it flood when warm if that is the reason. What about the fuel accumulator coming off the fuel filter--could this be the culprit or the fuel relay switch on firewall. It would stall at first when slowing to a stop sometimes and I disconnected the battery to reset the computer and that fixed the stalling for some reason. Hate to bother with repeated questions but I'm really excited about this car. First benz coming from toyota. I feel like the sheik of Iran. Dennis

For starters, your car is fuel-injected. You don't "prime" these as you did carburetted cars. You merely turn the key and hold 'til it starts.

The archives here is full of details. I would use the SEARCH facility.

The following thread might not be a bad place to start.

M103 hard start, rough idle, hesitation SOLVED
