I have noticed a little noise under the car at very slow speeds. Sort of a squeeking/grinding noise. I suspect the center-support bearing on the drive-shaft. The transmission and rear-end were recently serviced and the brakes, rotors, and bearings are all less than 20K old.

I have been told that the drive shaft center support bearing is not replaceable as a part for this model. Is this true? Do I have to get the entire shaft? or do I just buy the bearing like I did for my W123?

Thanks for any insight.... Anybody have ideas on the price? Don't remember what I paid for the W123.
