I'd like to know if the engine of a 86 190E 2.3 can be swapped to fit into a 93 190E 2.3
I know the engines were different in 84-85 than the 86 onward models but i'm not sure if they were changed from 86 onto the 92-93 models.
More over, what type of charges am I roughly looking at for an independent mech. to swap the engines for me if possible.

hi, well just did the swap from88 to 91 motor
no problem if you change the manifolds from one to the other
the bare motors are the same,but check closely.
took a bunch of time, but only wanted to do it one time. replace water pump while there.
