Misfire codes '97 C230

First, a little history lesson. . .

A while back, I changed my spark plugs out with Bosch Platinum, I think they had multiple "tips". Shortly after, I got a CE light. By the time I finally got off my butt to read the code (I let the problem go a while), it was P0170 - which according to research pointed to the MAF. I changed it out the other day.

After I started up from the MAF change, the car ran very rough (it has done this before) until the temp gets to around 60C. The CE light came back on with the codes P0300 and misfires in #1 and #2 cyl.

My plan is to replace the "fancy" Bosch plugs with those listed in FastLane (Bosch standard??). Meanwhile, checking to make sure I didn't cross any plug wires when I changed them out the last time. If no change, I'll move to looking at the boots, etc as listed in other posts.

Does this sound like a good plan? Do you think the change to the goofy Bosch plugs could cause a problem? Any other hints?

Thanks!

Those m111 4 bangers run kinda funny without the "wierd"
O.E. Bosch plugs. Try some O.E. plugs and see what happens.
