turbodiesel compatable in a 115?

i have just agreed to buy an early model 114 230/6.
i want to put a 300d turbo diesel in it. been told that the
oil filter on the turbo will interfere with the steering box.
can the oil filters position be moved. are there other
obstructions? oil pan? turbo tuching the wheel well?

thanks don

I believe the turbo and the upper control arm will occupy the same space, and the oil filter housing and the steering box do as well.
