I have a problem with my rear side marker lights that I originally posted 12/05/05.
Neither of them will work. I have about 8 volts on the right side and 4.5 volts to the left. That is testing thru the ground wire (brown) and the body.
main back bulbs test and work fine.
The lamp fault light is lit on the dash also.
Originally the right one was working until I took the bulb out to check the left side which was not working. I then returned the bulb back to the right side and it will now not work. Spoooooooky!
Today I pulled the plastic cladding away in the trunk to see if I could find something wrong twith the wire harness. Everything looks intact.
Based on the info in this thread could it be that the lamp fault moniter be preventing 12 volts from getting to the bulb?
