Everytime I start my 95 S500c the SRS light goes on for about 2 minutes and then turns off and stays off. What could it be?

If I shake my steering wheel the light still stays on, so I don't think it's a sensor in the steering wheel. Someone told me about the sensor in the seatbelt buckle. Can anyone confirm?

I would imagine that it could be caused by your Saftey Belt,,, but why wouldnt it stay on all the time?? Have you tried to wiggle your seat belt buckle while the light is on..?
