My 300e throttle actuator has had the following problem for awhile now:the rotation of the out put arm is only about 60 degrees where as it should be about 90 degrees. This is resulting in only partial throttle plate opening at full throttle commands(throttle arm on throttle body stops about 3/8 inch from stop.I have also just recently been getting an ASR light which sends car into limp mode.I made a harness that allows me to read the voltage sent to the actuator which is 7volts @wot.Ibelieve this is the correct voltage per the work shop CD table.I dont have the factory test harness and 35 pin socket box that would allow thourough diagnosis of this system.I am pretty sure the actuator is the culprit but dont want to shot gun it ...actuator is $839.00! Is there any other diagnosis I can do to verify the actuator is bad?? I would really appreciat some help on this ! Thanks ,
Dan
