help need with steering for w108

Hi there,

I'm having problems with the steering on my 1968 280s. When i turn the car full lock left it makes a wurring noise and when i turn it to the right it feels very tight. I've chagned the pump but that has made it worse - the car won't turn to the right at all now. Could it be the actual box instead? If so how easy is it to fix / replace. In addition, fluid seems to spurt from the top of the pump when the engine is running.

I've had a nightmare trying to resolve this and don't seem to be getting very far. I f anyone can help i would be eternally greatfull,

Yours hopefully,

Neil.
