in 1997, the mbusa site says 933 in that year. in 1996, approx 2400.
how many coupes worldwide?

Worldwide production numbers:
S420 Coupe/CL420=2496 500SEC/S500 Coupe/CL500=14953 600SEC/S600 Coupe/CL600=8573 I have no breakdown for the individual model years, just the individual models. There evidently was no "420SEC" produced (in the 140 chassis range), there is none listed in my info anyways. If they did, you can assume it's included with the other 420 models listed. Gilly
