260E 1988 euro help needed from techs

Tryied a lot of things to solve unstable Idle on my car. before changing ICV and Air mass flow meter, I have two question for experienced techs.

Question N°1
Could anybody tell me what the screw on the Idle Control Valve (below the seal) is meant for? What does it adjust ?
I believe it may adjust the minimum opening of the Idle control valve but I am not sure.

Question N°2
There are two pins one can see on the upper face of the Mass Flow meter close to the Fuel Dostributor. Any body knows what they are for I would like to avoid to open just for seeing.
( I do not have yet the picture but will be added soon)
