300E 86 exhaust question
hey guys...
just tryin to fix my exhause here. there is a bracket that connects the center muffler to the transmission...using this wire looking "loop" clamp that fits on both the 2 parallel exhaust pipes. This bracket was making a "ding" sound everytime i had the car on drive. I checked it out and it wasn't connected to the transmission bracket... i dont know what parts i need to connect this wired looped exhaust bracket to the transmission studs. does anyone know the part number or perhaps show a diagram...i'll try to take pictures of what i'm talking about... thanks.. allen

dude your awesome!!! thanks...now...where am i gonna get this stuff on fastlane? they dont have it there. should i just go down to a MB service center and get the parts there? they may charge an arm and a leg for something that looks that exotic.

The kit (#68) lists for all of $17. You may as well stroll down to your local dealer and pick one up. MB part number is 201 490 0037.
