slight rough idle M112 engine
I have a slight rough idle that I've come to notice on my M112 engine after some spirited runs.
It's got a new MAF, new airfilter, new plugs, and new oil/filter from about a month ago. Some possible reason: detoriation of engine mounts blocked EGR valves Any others? Thanks |

YEAR, MODEL INFO WOULD HELP!!!
Have computer replaced or if applicable, flashed to latest software available. Have idle speed increased also to max settings in gear and in neutral. This should clear up any vibration. |

i would start with the basics first before replacing computers
looks like they dont teach you that at elite! if its a plugged egr you would definitly have a check eng light on. if its a 210 car yes i would check the engine mounts for any signs of oil loss, very common. the hack way of checking mounts is quick and easy. open the hood, start eng, place in reverse and power brake it. see if the motor wants to jump out kinda like that oil commercial with dennis leary! goodluck |

I edited out some of the garbage from this one!
Please play well in the sandbox, children. But really. I don't guess at these situations because the engine could have one of a hundred things going on that should be looked at by a qualified tech! Also, I would get the ECU flash done, but I would not replace the ECU. Some of us outside the dealer/warranty situation have to pay over $1,000 if we wanted to "just replace the ECU" to guess at what a problem might be.
