I have a 1987 560sl with ~ 80k miles. I'm planning on replacing the front subframe bushings and figured that I might as well replace the tie rod ends since they have to be disconnected anyway. However, I've been unsucessful finding a pair. I can only find one side and not the other. Does anyone know why it's so hard to find a pair? I read on this site, I think, that there was some redesign to the tie rods. Could this be it? Also, are there any other components that I should replace while doing the bushings on a car of my age and miles?

If you wish to just replace the tierod ends there are 4 of them. There are two right hand threads 000 338 52 10 and there are two left hand threads 000 338 50 10.

It is much simpler to order the tierods complete and they are the same left and right 107 330 02 03.
