Shell Oil and Mercedes

I changed the oil on the weekend. For difference I have decided to put Shell High Mileage Oil SH/SJ 10W-40 and Bosch oil filter. Before it was Mobil High Mileage Oil SH/SJ 10W-40 and OEM oil filter.
I had an episode of raising the engine temperature today in the morning traffic on the low speed. It did not happen before. The oil pressure is good.
I do not have a climate control unit in my car right now. To prevent hot air to blow in the car I removed a fuse for the fan that located nearby a big fuse box. A hot air still comes in but not so intense as it was before.
Could be Shell Oil not the best chose for Mercedes?
