My '83 300TD has started to make a grinding noise from the rear-left wheel at speed. My tech suggested repacking the bearings.
1)Is this a viable DIY project? 2)If not, is $170 for the front and $500 for the back a reasonable quote? BTW, my '75 240D is still rolling well on the original bearings. Thank you for the continued support, Andrew Seidel. ------------------ 89 190E 2.6 83 300TD Turbo 75 240D |
