Is this right? (pic)
the nice weather has inspired me to go on a bit of a fixing binge.
This is a shot of the driver's door handle. When I open the door, the mechanism squeezes the white vacuum line and sticks in the 'pulled' position. Is it routed correctly? I know it is an oddball problem, but if someone knows, that would be swell. Mike

That is the alarm signal wire & it should be away from the handle mechanism.
There is a plastic plug at the end of the door that the connector for that wire is supposed to live. TAKE a look at the other side & see how it is routed.

Are you saying they clip to the interior door skin? If so I will pull the panel and set things right. Mike
