560SL coughs with acceleration
Two Symptoms:
1 - Let car sit and idle - after 10 minutes - it stalls. After restarting, acceleration will not exceed 2K RPM, then after 5 minutes driving - all appears OK. 2 - Attempt a "Jack Rabbit start" from the traffic light. Things are smooth up to 6K RPM, gear changes, then car coughs and hesitates. Letting off the gas - runs smooth again, just can not quickly accelerate - even from moving. Thanks for the help Wife suggests this occured last fall also. 171K mile.
