W113 - Window crank won't work

The window mechanism on my 250sl is broken. I knew it was in
trouble. It stuck quite a bit. The other day, it failed.
Has anyone had window trouble and fixed it? What is involved?
I haven't had time to look at it since it happened.
Thanks in advance!

Vaughn - It may be something as simple as the slides on the glass jumping out of the track. You will have to remove the inside door panel to access the internal workings and determine the cause.

(Mine was out of adjustment when we bought it. I eventually had to remove the window glass completely and reattach the slides to the glass. Installation and adjustment wasn't too difficult.)

Cheers,
Wes
