Talking Fuse Frustration

I have a 93 190E and the brake lamps, reverse lights, and a few items on the instrument panel aren't working. According to the fuse diagram all of these items are tied to one fuse. I inspected the fuse and it looks fine but I went ahead and replaced it with a new one any way. Unfortunately the problem still exists. Any idea what would cause this? Just to make sure that the new fuse wasn't faulty, I tried 3 seperate new fuses but the problem wasn't resolved. If someone could point me in the right direction, I sure would appreciate it. Thanks!
