Power Seat Diode Location 190E

Hey all:
My power seats only work when a door is open. Does anyone know where the power seat diode is so I can replace it? I know from a search that it is under the fuse box, but is it under the auxiliary relay fuse box or the regular fuse box? Also, which fuse is it connected to? Thanks.

Inside of the car, plugs into the BOTTOM of the fuse box.

Hey M.B.DOC:
Thanks for the reply. I removed the kick panel and I can see the bottom of the fuse box, but I can't find the diode. Does it plug in through a connector or just by itself? Do you happen to know specifically where it plugs in? Thanks in advance.

In connector slot "F" between two large connectors closest to the fender/door.

Thanks so much for the help. I'll fix it right away now that I know where it is.

I'm having a similar problem right now. Are all the seat diodes the same for all the 190s? Anyone have the part number for this? I asked my dealer for it and they showed me a diagram with all the relays and asked which one... I don't know cause I didn't removed it yet...

Just pull the connector and there is a simple diode in there. I'm not sure exactly what type, but you can get it at radio shack and just solder it back in there....it should say the type on the wiring diagram.

Hello. I took a picture of the bottom of the fuse box. There are too much wires. Which one would be the correct one that contains the seat diode?

It's one of the only ones that doesn't have any wires coming out of it. You have to look a lot closer than that. It is a small 2 prong connector that you simply pull out and the diode is encased in it.
