thanks for suggesting that i replace the stop lamp switch, on my ML 430....could you tell me where it is located? under the pedal or somewhere obvious? thx, mike

The brake light switch is located right above your brake padal with 2 electrical plug in to it.Check with new one then you know witch one is,also how to remove it (with under panel remove).
