Leaking fluid....help!

I bought a 94 S500 coupe a couple of weeks ago. This is my first benz and I love it. However there are a couple things I needed advice on:

In the past few days, I noticed some fluid leaking. This only occurs by the front wheel on the driver side. Checked the engine oil level. That's fine. The color if this fluid is black so it can't be the coolant. I had the power steering fluid changed last week from the dealer so I don't think it could be the steering fluid. I don't think it's the trans fluid because of the color. What could it be? My best guess is when I had the car serviced last week, the dealer told me that they put in some hydraulic fluid because it was empty. Could this be it? And if so will the leak cause major issues if I don't have it serviced ASAP?

Also, another thing I noticed is the engine bay stays hot long after I have shut off the engine. While driving, the temp stays within normal levels. But when I come home and shut the car off, I can go out to the garage a few hrs later and there is heat eminating from the engine bay, especially through the front grill. Is this normal?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply.
It is a type of an oil and the color is pitch black. I will take a closer look tonight to see exactly where it is originating from.
