My daughter lives in beautiful downtown (heck, I don't know) Schertz TX, just outside of San Antonio. She owns (here's daddy's influence coming through) a 1993 300E (3.2) that she bought herself for her 19th birthday. She'll be 21 soon...

Since maintaining her car from here (1700 miles away) via phone or otherwise is so difficult, I'm hoping that the list members / brain trust will be so kind as to recommend their favorite MB-trained mechanic in that area. Please tell me why you recommend them and I'll pass it all on to my daughter.

By the way, her car now has 207,000 miles on it, runs strong and still looks great!

Schertz is a small town, doubt if there are decent, if any, Benz mechanics there.

I would say SA (San Antonio) would have one, probably several as it is a huge city. Maybe New Braunfels would have one, probably easier to get to than say most places in SA.
