In early August I posted a question about our 300E A/C defaulting to heater mode after a few minutes of cooling. It was suggested (and it was a solution for a while) that replacing all the fuses (whether they looked bad or not) would solve the problem. Well, we seem to back to square one with the A/C. Is there a deeper problem that we are not addressing? Just when we thought we had the answer (a $6.solution)... We could use some advise. Thanx.

If the car goes into heat mode, it could be many things. Heat is the default. It will blow heat if there is any malfunction detected.
The pushbutton controller will cause this as well as other things. ------------------ Benzmac: Donnie Drummonds 300E ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTO TECHNICIAN SERVICE MANAGER FOR 14 BAY FACILITY MERCEDES SPECIALIST 8 YRS PARTNER IN MERCEDESSHOP.COM |

You may want to do a search on the monovalve also.
