We have just finished putting the 617.952 engine with trans.back in the 1982 300D-Turbo 123 chasis. We have a green wire comming out of the wiring harness for the neutral/safety switch, and we don't know where it goes.We have searched for a place on the trans.but can not see any place it might connect. Like I said, it is a green wire with an eye connector about 4 or 5mm. in dia.Where does it go? We need help. Thanks

For what it's worth:

Sounds like the green wire is for the kickdown switch. If I find it extremely hard to re-connect,I'll leave it disconnected. I never use kickdown, anyway. Thanks for all the help. Bill L. Lex.Ky.
