Any mystery to changing rear rotors on a 98 C230?

I had the rear wheels off the other day to take the snows off and the rear rotors looked thin. They had a pronounced lip on them. Car has 70k miles on it. Is there anything unusual about removing the rotors on the rears, aside fron just unbolting the caliper and the rotor from the hub?

Rear Rotor Removal

have the parking brake OFF. Clean hub very well with wire brush before installing new rotors. You may want to repack the bearings.

purchase new pad springs

buy new 5mm hex ( think that is right size and type ) disc retaining screw.

know how to adjust parking brake - which bolt hole to look through and which direction to move the adjuster to loosen and tighten - cause if you release parking prake and rotors feels like its still attached you may have to loosen parking brake

MB pad paste for the backing plates

and use some rubber protectant and clean the CV boot covers

you may have to bang off rotors ( from inside bang outwards ) with a steel mallet
