I have 1981 280SE. I've been trying to adjust the time of speed change at A/T. Starting from 0 Km/h, with medium acceleration, it changes for second speed at about 5 km/h. Full gas it goes to aprox. 20 km/h and then changes very . At 90 km/h it reduces to 3rd only with kickdown. And at 60 km/h in 3rd it reduces to 2nd only with kickdown. I've tryed to adjust the linkage of accelerator and the vacuum modulator without success. Are there any chart of changing speeds for this trans and a procedure to adjusts the linkage/modulator? Any help will be wellcome.
