sideskirts removal to upgrade is it possable?

1985 500sel euro W126
Is there a difference in the side skirts in American and euro. Is there any way to upgrade the side skirts to the look after 85 the flat side. what do you think would be my best bet. I am not the only one who would like this there are a few more people with the same question. Is it posable and how much.

Dan, I looked into this for my 300E. I can't believe what they want for those pieces of plastic(about 2.5 kilobucks). Not worth it IMHO.
