No lights behind switches

There are no back light on all the switches in my car.
The centre console, shifter console and the window switches all don't have back light on them. So it's really dark when I drive during the night. How can I fix this electrical problem.?

They are fed from a central lamp that uses fiber optics to transmit the light to each switch. Called the "octopus", it is most likely buried within the dash, centrally located behind the center console, maybe on the a/c plenum above the radio.

Happy searching!!
