R129 - Window Wiper Motor Gets Stuck

On the odd occasion and only on intermittent my blade gets stuck on the wrong side of the screen until the next wipe is requested. ie the blade travels at exactly 1/2 the speed.

How is the intermittent signal generated? Is a pulse issued by the wiper controller or does the motor unit actually control the intermittent function by switches or similar?

Thanks
Lea

Interesting, my dad's 300E does the same thing sometimes. It will not always go back down until it is used next time.
Thanks
David

Surely someone here has seen this before? I'm surprised if not!
