Parking brake adjustment on 560sl?

Brake barely holds on incline when pedal is pushed to floor. Does anyone know where the adjustment is made and how you go about doing it?

Thanks,

Steve

to give a partial answer,

in the top hole on the rear hubs ( wheels removed ) there is a toothed gear that is turned with a screwdriver - flat blade - to adjust, usually need a flashlight to shine in there to see.

to tighten brake

left wheel toothed gear moved from bottom upwards

right wheel toothed gear moved from top downward

the toothed gearon each wheel should be moved the same amount

first tighten parking brake with toothed gear till wheel won't move, then loosen until wheel spins freely, repeat with same amount of adjustment on other side.

have someone confirm this, but I wanted you to get an idea
