figure this one out!
Ok, I've used the search for this and have not really come up with a difinitive answer...Climate control.
My control works flawlessly for A/C when it's on min setting. Fan switch works fine, speeds all fine... But...when I add a litttle warmth to it such as while driving at night and it's not too hot outside, then it starts doing the click, click, cutoff and sits there fat, dumb and happy for about 5-7 minutes. During the winter it was doing this while using heat. Soooo...what is causing that? Have new heater valve, everything works, aux pump, temp sensor, etc. I've read where owners have removed the control itself and re-soldered the components inside. Is this it? How do I get it out? It's working fine for now, but when it gets winter again....I just want the darn thing fixed. |

thanks
I've had the system serviced recently and all the flaps work fine...it 's just the climate control/temp control. Thanks for the input...I'll try it next time I'm off...
How do you pull the control out??? |

Try unplugging the aux water pump. IF the pump draws excessive power from pushbutton then the pushbutton will go into "fixed" operating mode.
