climate control unit

Dear phouse,

Thank you so much for your picture. Yes, it is the same. I've ordered the security keys. Do I need to remove all the wood panel and radio to get the climate control out? Or I can just remove the climate control unit and replace with a new one? I hope that it would stop that high pitch sound.

No. the control unit will slide right out, once you get the keys.. I believe I had posted pictures of the radio sliding out, the control unit comes out the same way.

Climate control.

Thank you so much for your help. Do you also know why the climate control unit is making a very high pitch sound when the unit is on. It stop when I turn on the defogger which goes full blast with hot air. Is changing a new climate control help this problem? Or can I take it out and clean it. Do you also know if it is very difficult to replace a light bulb in the instrument panel. My fuel guage is very dim and I think the bulb is gone and I should replace it. Thank you!
