Unhappy Help with Rattler 369D on 87 300E

Hi I recently bought a DEI Rattler 369D Remote Start and Keyless Entry Unit. I don't plan on hooking up the remote start feature yet but how do I at least hook up the Keyless Entry feature. It came with a DEI 451M relay but I haven't the slightest clue as to how to hook it up to the vacuum lock and in turn how to hook it up to the 369D unit. I'm not worried about the factory alarm because I had it disabled. Please help.

I haven't a clue as to what your device can do, but to activate the lock feature wire "x" needs to be pulled to ground and the unlock feature works by pulling wire "y" to ground; where "x" and "y" are determined by the wiring diagram to be the two wires that accomplish such a feat on the car involved.

Uh Thanks I think. That might be a little more helpful if I knew which wires were 'x' and 'y', but at least now I know the basic concept of the lock. Does anyone else have experience with this specific system?

Hey,

I just got this same system (Rattler) and I'm wondering how your install went.

TIA

Check www.the12volt.com. They have a lot of good information on installing such things.
