Hi Everyone,
\The sunroof cable in my 86' 300E was badly mangled so I followed the procedures I found on this website and installed a new sunroof cable. I then fine tuned the motor so the sunroof panel sat perfectly flat with the roof. My problem is when I push the button to lift the sunroof- it just keeps lifting and does not stop at which point the cable actually pops out of the guide rail (which looks to be what caused the problem with the sunroof cable in the first place!). Does anyone know what I adjust or replace to "tell" the motor to dissengage at the appropiate time and stop lifting the sunroof? Maybe I am doing something wrong...
