Sylvnaia Xenarcs in DOT Headlights, anyone?

Has anyone put the Xenarc lighting system into any of their cars? I would assume on an old w126 with the 6054 system or the w123 with the 6024 system or an R107 with the 5001 / 5006 system.

I am interested in trying it out, I just wanted to see if anyone has done it.

When they first came out they were $899 plus shipping, so you are at about a grand by the time everything is said and done. They are around $550 or so now. What do you guys think?

I already have w123 euro lights, and I love them, but I wanted to try something new. Its just that the DOT housings are ugly. I think I might paint the headlight bezel/grills black.

Mainly interested on your input on the Xenarcs.

Thanks
