1994 E320 temperature

My 1994 E320 (120K) shows normal temperature but when A/C is on and I am parked, the temperature goes up to the white line at 120 degrees! I had the thermostat replaced but nothing changed. Anybody got any ideas? Thanx

Smile E320 engine cooling

This thread led me to check my fans, since last week I noticed that my temp was rising toward the top of the scale at idle.
I found the right fan rotated freely but the driver was bound up. I removed the grill piece and rotated the motor side and it freed up. Apparently some trash had caused it to stick.
Next question is to see if it operates normally now or if I blew a fuse with the increased load.
Thanks for the heads up .
