backfire slk

the last couple of days my car starts to sputter and small back fire when I floor the gas pedle. I noticed a loss in power also. I changed the spark plugs around 7months ago. I just put fuel injector cleaner in today. any ideas on what it could be? thanks

Well first is there a ck engine light on? does the trans seem to shift funny? if so you might have a bad air mass meter, explain the loss of power

possible exhaust leak? Did you do any changes to the car recently? also try a different brand of gas. You are using premium gas right?
