What do you need translated? Numbers are the same in English and German. Or is my English that bad?

It is both.

If you look closely there are three sets of numbers. The 2.2 lbs refers to the max charge for a 107 chasis, 2.9 lbs is for the 126 (and one I can't make out due to wear) and the third is 2.7 lbs for the 201 chasis and yet another one I can't make out.

He didn't post one Gilly. I went outside and checked the radiator support on the 560, the info is on the small red sticker just right of center.

Sorry: But what i am looking for is the max amount of freon r-12 this system holds. Is it 2.2 or 2.9, i just injected 1oz. of uv dye into the system and if i need to recover, take apart to repair and recharge an empty system, i would like to know how many 12oz. cans of r-12 to buy.If it is 2.2 i may only need 2 cans. The sticker says:klimaanlage fur autimobile 1.0kg 2.2lbs also: Daimler benz ag 1.3 2.9.

Can you post an image of the label?

I thought it was illegal to buy those cans of R12, thought in the whole US it was mandatory to be licensed to buy it anymore, and it only comes in those big bottles of it, what, 50lb cans like a big LP tank for a gas grille.

I have a 609 license. You can download the test online for 15 or 20.00. bucks. And you can still buy 12oz. cans for about 30.00 bucks. [no means to post lable] sorry.

If it is 2.2 pounds it will take more than 2 cans. Remember the cans are only 12 oz. 2.2 pounds would be about 35 ounces. This would be almost 3 cans.

Sorry I can't decipher your sticker. Mike may be onto it though. Are you sure there is no reference to chassis series as it says on Mikes sticker?

Good luck,

According to my 1989 TDM (which I have a whole STACK of I'm going to be EBaying) the 126 chassis takes 1.3 KG, which is a little under 2.9 lbs.

This is what it says on the sticker:automotive air conditioner R-12 max Conforms to sae j 639 107/201 Klimaanlage Fur automobile 1.0 kg 2.2lbs. Ausfuhrung Nach sae j 639 123/126 Dimler-benz ag 1.3ks 2.9lbs. Stuttgart-Unterturkheim 124 1.1kg 2.4lbs. The way it is positioned on the sticker,it looks like the 123/126 Dimler-benz ag 1.3ks 2.9lbs pertains to my car. The system will take 2.9 lbs. Is this correct?
