I got to the car after work today and I heard the ticking, didn't pay attention as it was raining and started and went on my way.... Got home, turned car off, sat in the car for a couple minutes reading some stuff, then the ticking started out of no where
... I started car, ticking went away.... turned car off, no ticking.....until about a minute later... its still ticking....
Moved the rug and there is a metal panel on the floor board / fire wall with one screw to the floor, I am going to go out and see what's down there.. Could it be a relay?
Any ideas? I am afraid my car is going to not start in the am if it ticks all night long
edit: I took that panel off and what is ticking is a metal box goldish in color on the passenger side area mentioned above, it is stamped
VDO . Its got torx screws on the four corners. Of course my tools are in the whse...
Still ticking..... any clue guys? I need to order something tommorrow from Fastlane if I need to.
