Nippondenso compressor clutch testing

My 560sl has a nippondenso 10p17c a/c compressor. I've rebuilt the compressor with new shaft seal and o-rings and would like to check the clutch on my bench before I reinstall. Can anyone tell me where I apply the 12V to the clutch?

I don't want to burn out the clutch by shorting the wires.

Thanks,

Steve

On my 300Es there's a 3-pin plug on the compressor. The pin closest to the engine (blue and green) and ground is the connection for it.
