SL 500 Inside Rearview Mirror
I have a loose inside rearview mirror on my 97 SL500 that was loose when I purchased the car second-hand. How can I open the mirror case to check inside for repair?

So a search for W140 (similar to 129) rear view mirror and you'll find postings on how to disassemble and repair.
