Hey Larry, I wouldn't sweat the evaporator.

I always joke with my mechanic, the owner of Mr. MB Motors, about the impending failure of my evaporator, but he reassures time and time again that evaporator leaks are not common in his 30+ years experience of working on Mercedes vehicles exclusively.

He swears it is the exception, not the rule.
