weird mod?
I have a friend who's totaled a 1997 W202 C36. Nothing mechanical is broken.
I was thinking about taking his 722.6 5speed auto and fit it to mine? My car is a 1994 W124 E220 (M111 engine). Would it fit? I know that late W202 C200s (same engine as my E220, but less 200cc) has that gearbox so I was wondering what I need to put it onto my car.. TCU for sure.. Actually, has anyone done this mod? Is there any other thing I could/should get from the W202 C36? Cheers |

I'm guessing that the trans controller would stay in limp home without traction control and engine management data coming to it over the non existant powertrain CAN.

Do I even have to say it? The engine! I guess you might have to pay more taxes on the displacement. What about the interior/steering wheel. Are you in the UK?
