I have heard rumors about people getting their TV's to work. Does anyone know how I would go about this, if it is even possible?

My car is a 2000 s500. What I am trying to do is get the TV option to work out of the navigation screen similar to European spec cars.
If that is not possible would there be a way to play dvd/video through the navigation screen. Please advise... |

I think the display unit for North America vs. Europe are completely different...I don't think there is some sorta "hack" where you can enable the television feature for North American versions...(Were you implying that you can solder a resistor somewhere or press some buttons in a certain sequence and the television would work???)
If you REALLY want the television feature on the display, maybe there is some way to buy the European unit and install it onto your car??? I'm not sure, you'll have to investigate that further. You could also go to aftermarket sources too... Sorry to disappoint you... ------------------ <- WaVe & DaNCe the DiScO DuCk if you spot a '95 black pearl/black Mercedes-Benz E420!!! |
